This Privacy Policy explains what happens to information when you visit linecrestdigital.com (the “website”), operated by Linecrest Digital, LLC, a Washington limited liability company (“Linecrest Digital”, “we”, “us”).
Linecrest Digital is based in Washington State and designs, builds and manages websites and Google Business Profiles for HVAC companies in the United States.
What this policy covers. This website, the booking process attached to it, and any correspondence that follows from either.
What it does not cover: the work we do for clients. When we build or manage a client’s website or Google Business Profile, we can reach information belonging to that client and to that client’s own customers — people who fill in a quote form or leave a review on a site we manage. That is handled under a separate written agreement each client signs before work begins, not under this policy. If you are one of those customers, the policy you want is the one on that client’s own website.

The short version
This website is deliberately simple. It has no contact form, no newsletter sign-up, no account system, no advertising or remarketing tags, and no social media tracking. We set no cookies of our own.
We use two measurement features from Netlify, who host this website: Web Analytics, which counts traffic from Netlify’s own server records, and Real User Monitoring, which measures how quickly pages load for real visitors. Both report totals and timings. Neither feature requires cookies for these measurements.
You can browse this website without directly giving us personal information. Netlify may still process limited technical information needed to deliver and protect the website, as explained below.
There are two ways to give us information directly, and neither happens on these pages: booking an intro call, which happens on Calendly, and emailing us at caleb@linecrestdigital.com.
Information you give us directly
Through the pages of this website: none.
There is no form, no comment area, no upload feature and no account system anywhere on this website, so there is nothing here to fill in or submit. We publish no phone number. Buttons inviting you to book a call lead, directly or by way of the booking section, to our page on Calendly, which opens in a new tab. To reach us in writing, email caleb@linecrestdigital.com.
Through Calendly (our scheduling tool):
We use Calendly, a third-party scheduling service, so you can book a call without a form on this website. If you book, the booking page asks for:
- your name (required);
- your email address (required);
- additional guests you would like to invite, if any (optional); and
- one optional free-text question: “Please share anything that will help prepare for our meeting.”
It also records the time you chose. It does not ask for a phone number.
Calendly shows you its own Participant Terms and Privacy Notice before you schedule, and handles what you enter under its own privacy policy: https://calendly.com/privacy
We use booking information to prepare for and hold the call you booked, and to follow up with you about working together.
If you email us:
You can email us at caleb@linecrestdigital.com — to ask a question, to ask what we hold, to ask us to delete something, or to ask us to stop contacting you. You do not need to have spoken to us before.
When you email us, we receive your email address, any name your email account shows, and whatever you wrote.
We use it to answer you and to keep a record that the request was made and handled. We do not add you to any marketing list because you contacted us.
Information collected automatically
By the pages themselves: page-speed measurements.
We run no tracking pixels, session recording, heat mapping, advertising tags or remarketing tags on this website, and we do not build visitor profiles. The pages load no fonts or images from third-party servers.
Netlify injects one small script of its own into the pages it serves, for Real User Monitoring. It records how quickly the page loads and responds, and it is described under “Analytics and performance measurement” below.
The website runs a small amount of our own JavaScript. It handles presentation only — menus, buttons and revealing sections as you scroll. It collects, stores and transmits nothing about you, and it contacts no other server.
By Netlify, which hosts and delivers this website:
The website is hosted and served by Netlify. Delivering a page to your browser necessarily involves technical information such as your IP address, the browser and device information your browser sends, the pages requested, and the date and time of the request. Netlify may process that information to deliver and protect the website.
Netlify handles it under its own privacy notice, which is where the detail lives: https://www.netlify.com/privacy/
Where such logs are available to us, we use them only to keep the site running and secure. We do not use them to identify individual visitors.
Cookies and similar technologies
We set no cookie of our own, for any purpose, anywhere on this site, and our own code stores nothing on your device — no local storage, no session storage, nothing similar.
Neither Netlify measurement feature sets a cookie either. Web Analytics works from Netlify’s server records, and Netlify states that Real User Monitoring needs no cookie in your browser. We use no cookies for advertising or tracking.
If you click through to Calendly, it may set its own cookies on its own website. That is governed by Calendly’s policies, not ours.
If we later add advertising, or any other technology that sets cookies, we will update this policy and add any consent mechanism that is then required.
Analytics and performance measurement
Both measurement features we use are provided by Netlify, the company that hosts this website. They are separate products, enabled separately, and both are currently on.
Netlify Web Analytics tells us how the site is used. It is server-side: it reads the request records Netlify’s servers already create when serving pages, so it needs no script in your browser and sets no cookies. What we see is aggregate — pageviews, unique visitors counted by IP address, which pages are popular, where traffic came from, approximate visitor locations, and which addresses returned “not found”.
Netlify Real User Monitoring tells us how well the site performs for real visitors. For this one Netlify injects a small script into the pages it serves, which records Web Vitals: timings such as how long the main content takes to appear and how quickly the page responds when you first interact with it. Netlify states it needs no cookie in your browser. It measures page performance and responsiveness rather than building an individual browsing profile.
We use these features to understand website traffic and performance. We do not use them for advertising, retargeting, or cross-site tracking. Netlify handles the underlying data under its own privacy notice: https://www.netlify.com/privacy/
We do not use advertising, remarketing, audience-building or conversion-tracking technologies, and we do not allow third parties to collect information about you on this website for their own advertising purposes.
How we use information
We use what you give us through Calendly and by email to:
- schedule, prepare for and hold the call you requested;
- reply to what you asked about;
- discuss whether our services fit your business, and send engagement terms if you ask for them; and
- keep ordinary business records of who we have spoken to.
We do not use this information for automated decision-making or profiling.
If you would rather not hear from us again, tell us — by email at caleb@linecrestdigital.com, or in reply to any message we send — and we will stop sending follow-up messages within ten business days. We will still answer anything you ask us directly.
Who receives your information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising or any other advertising purpose. We do not trade, rent or license it.
Booking a call involves a few connected services:

Calendly is not connected to any calendar of ours, so your booking is not copied into a calendar application. It sits with Calendly, and reaches us by email.
We do not put anything covered by this policy into an AI tool. The tools we use to build websites for clients are not connected to this website and do not receive information about the people who visit it.
We may also disclose information if legally required to, or to establish or defend legal claims.
If the business changes hands. If Linecrest Digital is sold, merged or reorganized, information covered by this policy may transfer to the successor as part of that business. We would hand it over on the footing that this policy continues to apply to it. A successor that wants to handle it differently would have to publish its own policy, and you would be free to ask them to delete it.
How long we keep information
We keep booking records and correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary for our business, recordkeeping, legal, or other legitimate purposes.
If you ask us to delete information about you, we will — see “Your choices” below.
Calendly, Netlify and our other providers each keep their own copies under their own retention settings, described in their privacy policies.
Security
We keep the number of places your information can sit deliberately small. The pages of this website store nothing about you. Booking information and correspondence live in the accounts of the services listed above, and Netlify’s technical records sit with Netlify.
No method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If something goes wrong. If we learn that information covered by this policy has been exposed, we will look into it promptly, take what steps we can to limit the harm, and tell the people affected where the law requires it or where the exposure is serious enough that you would want to know.
Your choices
- You can use this website without giving us anything. Every page is readable without submitting any information.
- You do not have to book a call. You can browse this website without directly giving us personal information. Netlify may still process limited technical information needed to deliver and protect the website, as explained above.
- You can stop hearing from us at any time, as described above.
- You can ask what we hold, and ask us to delete it. Email us at caleb@linecrestdigital.com. We aim to respond within 45 days. Before we act, we may need to be reasonably satisfied that the request is yours — usually by asking you to write from the email address concerned, or to confirm a detail only you would know — so that we do not disclose or delete someone else’s information. We will delete what we can, but we may have to keep some records where the law requires it, where we need them for tax or accounting, or where they relate to an active agreement or a legal claim. If that applies, we will tell you what we kept and why.
We offer these requests to anyone who asks, wherever you live, and whether or not you have ever booked a call with us.
US state privacy laws
Several states — California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas and Nevada among them — have privacy laws of their own. Most apply only to businesses above a certain size, revenue or volume of data, and this policy does not claim that any particular one applies to Linecrest Digital.
What we do instead is simpler: the requests described above are open to anyone who asks, wherever you live, whether or not a law requires it of us. If a state law does apply to us and gives you more than this policy offers, that law governs.
Washington
Linecrest Digital is a Washington company, so Washington law reaches us regardless of our size.
Health data. We do not collect health information through this website or through booking a call. We do not ask about anyone’s health, and we use no tool that could infer it — Netlify Web Analytics reports aggregate traffic figures only. If that ever changes, this policy changes with it.
If information is exposed. Washington sets a deadline for telling people about a data breach, and for telling the Attorney General when enough people are affected. The “If something goes wrong” commitment above is how we would handle it, and we would meet whatever deadline applies.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We do not track visitors across websites, so there is nothing here for a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal to switch off. We do not currently respond to those signals because we do not carry out the tracking they are designed to stop.
Children’s privacy
This website is for HVAC business owners and operators. It is not directed to children, we do not knowingly collect information from children, and nothing here is aimed at them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other websites
This website links out to Calendly so you can book a call — from the closing section of the home page and from the footer of every page. This policy and our Terms also link to the privacy policies of the providers named above, so you can read them first-hand.
Our case-study page describes a demonstration site we designed and built ourselves; it has never been live, so there is nothing to link to.
We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of websites we do not operate. When you follow a link away from this website, the other site’s policies apply.
Where your information is handled
Linecrest Digital operates from Washington State and serves US businesses.
The providers listed above run their own infrastructure. They may process information in the United States or in other locations, according to their own systems and privacy policies. We do not control where their servers are, and we are not in a position to guarantee a single location.
If you visit from outside the United States, your information may be handled in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live.
Changes to this policy
If we change how this website handles information — for example by adding a contact form, or any tool that sets cookies — we will update this policy and change the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected here before or when the new practice starts.
